This Blog captures our adventures aboard the Southern Cross as we explore America from the water. Southern Cross is a beautiful MJM 50Z Express Cruiser well suited for the two of us: easy for two to handle, comfortable to live on, and fast enough to cover long distances in a reasonable amount of time. Our ultimate goal is to traverse America’s Great Loop (up the eastern seaboard, up the Hudson River, into the Great Lakes, down the river system that divides the continent, into the Gulf of Mexico, around the tip of Florida, and back up the east coast.
